Huaynas Peru works with
over 50 ecologist groups spreaded all around the region. We are
against global warming and we understand that most environmental
problems is the result of a globalized production system.
The world climate change is, perhaps, the worst envirnmental
problems that mankind has to deal with.
According to experts' intergovernmental group on the climatic change
( ipcc ), to avoid global change in the whole climatic system, that
would cause a difficult impact to evaluate due to its magnitude, it
is necessary to hold the average rise of the temperature of the
planet underneath 2ºC, and a maximum increase of 0.2ºC per decade.
This is why, all developed countries must reduce their industrial
emissions by 2025 down to 45% in relation to 1990, and that
deveoping countries may adopt clean technolgy that allows them to
grow without polluting.
Based on this context, we recommend to protect the Amazon rain
forestand many other forests around the world through reforestation.
This is the reason why we carry out campaigns to aware people about
this problem, legal and public reports agains behaviors that may
cause damage to environment.
It is mandatory for all of us to work on this issue in order to
achieve the presented objectives by our organisation.
